Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and learner-focused Admissions Counsellor to drive enrolments for E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur's educational offerings. The ideal candidate will proactively engage prospective learners, guide them towards the right courses, and ensure a high standard of service throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Engagement: Achieve daily communication targets by making outbound calls to assigned leads and ensuring consistent follow-ups.
- Course Guidance: Understand student requirements and assist them in choosing the most suitable E&ICT Academy courses or programs based on their goals and background.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify and act on opportunities to recommend additional or alternative programs that add value to the learner's experience.
- Process Adherence & Reporting: Maintain strict adherence to internal sales processes and submit timely and accurate activity reports.
- Learner-Centric Approach: Provide exceptional service with a focus on understanding and fulfilling learners' expectations.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve escalations promptly to ensure high satisfaction and learner retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Customer-first mindset with a strong problem-solving attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in EdTech counselling or consultative sales roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting systems (Leadsquared preferred).
